The GREENFLEET UK Tri-Hub EV Challenge – saw 11 teams embark on , navigating 7 checkpoints across more than 200 all electric miles. Staged in association with Arnold Clark, Greenfleet, Transport Scotland and supported by SWARCO and Western Commercial Mercedes Benz.

11 Teams were tasked with navigating across 7 checkpoints, visiting main EV charging hubs to experience the capabilities of the charging infrastructure whilst aiming to adopt the most efficient driving style to keep miles per kWh as low as possible.

This challenge saw teams taking in an array of stunning scenery and key charging locations across the central belt. Giving two members of our own team hands on practice in accessing the charging infrastructure and providing valuable insight to allow us to further enhance the service offering and user experience. Further to this, our team had the opportunity to be boots on the ground and interact with drivers at each charging location, discussing all things EV and ChargePlace Scotland.

A big congratulations once more for the winning team from Eagle Couriers, one of Scotland’s largest courier firms who stated the following regarding making their own switch to electrification – “we are working with staff and customers to see how this will be implemented while remaining cost-effective”.
