Request card
The ChargePlace Scotland (CPS) network is undergoing a transition throughout 2026. As the network comes to an end, charge points on CPS are being transferred to new network operators chosen by the CPS charge point owners and therefore the CPS RFID card will become obsolete.
Ensuring that EV drivers can conveniently use and pay for charging sessions is important to us. You may be aware that ChargePlace Scotland has roaming agreements in place with the likes of Octopus Electroverse, ZapMap, Paua and All Star. Roaming providers such as these allow their customers to use charge points across many different charging networks, including CPS, with one mobile app or RFID card.
It is likely that many of the charge points that are moved off CPS to new network operators will continue to be seamlessly accessed by customers of roaming providers. In addition, drivers will be able to use contactless pay, where available, as well as each new operator’s own mobile app and/or RFID card. For more information visit our transition resource hub.
If you still need a CPS RFID card, for short term use, fill in this form to request it for your account. A £12 charge will be billed from your account.
