The following list contains information regarding out of service units which have been temporarily removed from the ChargePlace Scotland map and mobile app due to either longstanding issues or unique events. We are working with the relevant parties involved to provide the most accurate and up to date information regarding these units. This list will be updated on a weekly basis.

Our aspirations for the future of the map/app will allow us to present this information within the “more info” section of the charge point pin.

Non-communicative Units Since Migration

This table shows units which have never communicated with the ChargePlace Scotland network since migration. These have been raised with the supplier to bring back in to communication. Drivers may still be able to activate these units with a valid ChargePlace Scotland RFID card but not via a remote start, mobile app or webpay. These cases are typically due to either the units being out of warranty, the maintenance contract expiring or the units requiring SIM replacement or a complete unit swap/upgrade. The supplier of the unit will contact the owner of the charge point to agree new terms before repairs can take place.
