Drivers please note, we are aware of concerns regarding invoices for sessions incurred on the City of Edinburgh Council rapid charging points.

The tariff rate for rapid charging is as follows: £0.35 per kWh, £1.00 minimum charge. £30 overstay fee applies after 30 minutes.

This tariff was introduced on the 1^st May 2022 in line with rising energy costs and to ensure the sustained growth of their charging estate can be upheld. This was previously announced through both CPS website and social channels as well as EC channels.

We are working with the charge point owner to provide a resolution to sessions between 30-45 minutes which have been charged the overstay fee.
