We have been working with host and owners to help install QR code stickers throughout the network, this has been introduced across the majority of chargers on our network.

Results have shown that this has been effectively utilised and provided drivers with support at charge points, and you may begin to see this around more charge points on the network. Since being introduced just over 1 year ago, the QR Code has been scanned almost fifty thousand times!!!

How to stay safe & secure when scanning a QR code:

Ensuring the safety of QR codes on ChargePlace Scotland network charge point machines is crucial.

• When scanning these QR codes, they will direct you to a site called Linktr.ee
• From there, you’ll see multiple buttons containing links, including one to our website and another for web payment.
• Before clicking any of these links, make sure a padlock icon is displayed. This padlock indicates that the URL is secure. By verifying this padlock symbol, you can confidently proceed with accessing the links and utilising our services without any concerns about safety or security.
